Everything You Need To Know About The Paris Airshow 2025

The Paris Air Show (in French often referred to as the SIAF ‘Salon International de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace’) has a history of over 100 years’ of exhibition, and is held every odd year. It first returned after the coronavirus pandemic in 2023 – and this year, DCE Agency and several of their esteemed clients are returning to the action.

Who?

The Paris Air Show is run by the Groupement des industries Francaises Aeronautiques et Spatiales, abbreviated to GIFAS. GIFAS is the primary representative body of the aerospace industry in France, and its current president is also the CEO of Airbus: Guillame Faury. Members include Astrium, Dassault Aviation, Goodrich Corporation, MBDA, Safran, SOCATA, Thales Group and Zodiac Aerospace.

The 2025 event is expected to have over 300,00 unique visitors from all around the globe, with over 2,500 exhibitors and 300 start-ups from 48 different countries.

What?

The Paris Air Show is the largest air show and aerospace-industry exhibition event in the world (followed by the UK Farnborough Air Show, the Dubai Air Show and then the Singapore Air Show).

A vast trade fair, the Show demonstrates both military and civilian aircraft across a week – with 4 days open to professionals in the industry before it opens to the public from Friday to Sunday. It is exhibited at by a variety of military forces and major aircraft manufacturers, many of whom use the event to make major product and technology announcements and launches.

The 2025 Show will include 150 aircraft and 210 flying displays.

When and Where?

The 2025 Paris Air Show will take place from 16th-22nd June at Paris Le Bourget Airport. Once the capital’s premier (and at one time, only) airport, it is now used only for general aviation and industry events.

The Show’s History

The first Paris Air Show was a section of the Paris Motor Show back in 1908, before it expanded to be a dedicated aircraft show the year after – which attracted some 100,000 visitors! With some interruptions for world wars, it has been held every odd year since 1949. The Show relocated to Paris Le Bourget Airport in 1953 and has been resident there ever since.

By the 1970s, Paris Air Show was the industry’s leading event globally, and continues to be the prime meeting and networking place for the aerospace industry worldwide. The Show can boast several impressive accolades – including displaying Yuri Gagarin’s Vostok rocket, hosting the first ever Concorde flight, debuting the Boeing 74 and receiving official accreditation from French President Emmanuel Macron.

Exhibiting at the Paris Air Show

Exhibiting at the Paris Air Show is a fantastic opportunity to get your brand or organisation in front of the main movers and shakers of the aerospace industry. The event is not just for aircraft manufacturers; but rather anyone involved in industry trends, enriching the sector’s professional networks and/or investing and developing related tech.

There are 5 different areas in the Show within which to exhibit:

  • Exhibition Halls – a stand in the main halls that can be customised to your specification or supplied fully equipped with a standardised set-up
  • Business Chalets – trackside chalets in a more exclusive setting to host meetings, groups and discussions
  • Outdoor Surfaces – a space in the open air either customised to your specification or supplied in an adaptable set-up
  • Static Display Aircraft – spaces specifically for aircraft ensuring maximum 360° visibility
  • ‘Avion des Metiers’ – the Hall Concorde, the most central exhibition space in the Show that is ideal for larger stands to showcase and demonstrate brand presence.

There are over 70 hectares of exhibition space throughout the Paris Air Show. DCE Agency is able to help with exhibiting in all areas of the show.
