DCE Agency News: We have sponsored Devizes RFC!

Updated: Feb 11, 2022

We are pleased to announce that DCE Agency now sponsors the rugby club Devizes RFC. DCE Agency Director, John Cox, met with James Rapson, Volunteer Co-ordinator at Devizes RFC, to visit the venue and explain how he wanted to donate some signage to the club as part of the sponsorship.

John asked Russ and DCE Agency Account Manager Louisa to visit Devizes Sports Club on 11th January to meet James, get to know a bit about the club, take some photos of the existing site and take measurements of areas where they might want to install new signage.

James wanted the club to feel like a home to the rugby club and central meeting point rather than a soulless space with no identity. Therefore, Devizes RFC needed support to put their stamp on the venue with signage incorporating their recently developed new brand image.

Louisa took the logos and ideas from Becky, combining them with photos provided by James. This formed the artwork which is now proudly displayed around the grounds of Devizes RFC. As Devizes RFC are also known as The Saddlebacks, due to the black /white stripes on their shirts – like the pig breed saddleback, the black and white theme of the signage and graphics work perfectly. Signage was designed, produced and installed by DCE Agency.

James wanted the grand reveal ready and installed for their thank you / rebrand reveal lunch on Saturday 22nd January. On Friday 21st January, DCE Agency enlisted the support of their partners, Think Expo Logistics, to deliver the signs to site. From there, the DCE Agency team completed the install! This was all provided at no cost to Devizes RFC, the first of DCE Agency’s offers to support as their sponsor.

James and the club were over the moon with the end result. Becky and Louisa were given a special mention in the thank you lunch for pulling everything together in the short time and given a branded bottle of gin as a special gift. Lunch was followed by a chance to watch the team in action out on the pitch.
